Our academy
Humble roots. A home of our own.
Basketball is the vehicle. Community is the destination.
Founded in 2013 by local players and coaches, Edenvale Lions grew from borrowed courts into one of Ekurhuleni's few academies with a dedicated home court.
Today the academy welcomes players from across Johannesburg's East Rand and beyond, creating a place where skill, confidence and character grow together.

Your questions, answered
Before you lace up.
Players can join from age 7 upwards. Our four age-grouped programmes are Jnr Cubs, Cubs, Young Lions and Lions / Seniors.
Training takes place every Wednesday and Friday from 16:00 to 18:00 at Edenvale Sports Club, 17th Avenue, J.P. Bezuidenhout Park, Edenvale.
